Name: Jeremy Briggs

Job: Primary Videographer/Editor at Twitter

Favorite Food: I’ve gotten really into baby back ribs lately. Never a fan before, with the mess and all. Now I gladly douse myself in that stuff.

Weapon of Choice: Hmmm, never been in a fight, but I’ll say mace-chucks. It’s a weapon I just invented that combines the sweet power of nunchucks with mace. It’s basically two cans of mace tied together. Patent pending!

Craziest moment of the past year: Man, there have been a lot this year. I’d say the craziest moment of this past year was my 3rd day at Twitter when it was announced nonchalantly that Conan O’Brien would be stopping by the office to say hello. I remember that vividly as a “holy FUCK!” moment, cause I was new and unaware that things like this happened at Twitter. Plus it was during all the Leno vs. Conan craziness. But Kanye West telling me that I needed to dress better was pretty crazy as well (he said that to everyone at Twitter not just me, but crazy none the less).

What are you currently working on? Currently I’m working on a few things, some of which are in preparation for Twitter’s 5 year anniversary in March at South by Southwest. I’m also working on a video for the signed out homepage that will hopefully help explain to people just what Twitter is and why they should care.

Craziest moment of the past year: SXSW was one big crazy moment, being able to roam around one street with all my favorite people, while working, is a playground .
A refreshing reminder to make ‘work your play.’

What are you currently working on? Finishing up a Twin Shadow video for Yourstru.ly (an ongoing, exciting collaboration & adventure); in pre-production for a music video that will take place in an abandoned hacienda! – and a dance party called FUZzZ that happens once a month at El Rio…cause you can’t forget to DANCE.
