I’m already a big fan of Blu. Great soulful MC from long beach, who seemingly has it all. Good flow, smart, funny lyrics, careful song craft and great beats. So I’m already inclined to like this video. That being said, I REALLY LIKE THIS VIDEO. I’m pretty sure it’s unofficial, but the mashup of the old Noir film goes so well with the song, Blu would do will to co-opt it. It would definitely help his cred with the cineastes crowd. Anyone know what the film the footage is taken from?
