We like web series. We don’t share them enough, but there are plenty of folks out there getting the formula right. To me, there are basically 3 major rules of web video.

1. Keep it short. 3 minutes or less.

2. Make it visually compelling. A lot of people think that since web series are so short, the visuals aren’t important. I wholeheartedly disagree. I think if you want to leave a lasting impression, it’s got look hot.

3. Have a dope gimmick. The above video is from a series shot in MTL called What Up Gangstars is hosted by an urban puppet. So, instead of having your typical webshow, you have a muppet. I will come back to this.
