The Future of the Newsroom

The Columbia School of Journalism has reported that the California Watch, a nonprofit Investigative Journalism outlet, after losing the lease on their bay area newsroom, decided to fan their reporters out into the wifi-enabled coffeeshops of the state. And, as news outlets become more like aggregators and less like institutional organizations, this is going to become the norm. While less iconic, it’s actually pretty cool. The machiatos in most office places suck balls.
