One of the most recurring discussions I have with freelance shooters revolve around the HD videp image possible with the modern DSLR. I know some freelancers who use it exclusively. As far as I can tell, there are two challenges with it. One is sound quality can be difficult. The second is clients, who may not be that video-savvy, usually balk when they see a freelancer show up for a shoot without a “real” video camera.
Well, if you show up with one of these rigs, alongside your DSLR, I’m confident that will not be an issue. Anybody had any experience using this or other rigs?
